The Designer

Founded in Milan in 1985 by Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, D&G built its identity on Sicilian iconography — baroque prints, corsetry, leopard, cathedral gold, Madonna-mother references translated into ready-to-wear. Still independently owned and still based in Milan, the house remains one of the defining Italian voices in luxury maximalism.
