The Designer

Azzedine Alaïa built his legend on an obsessive devotion to cut and material. The Tunisian-born, Paris-based couturier was known as the "King of Cling" — his atelier still produces shoes and garments with the same exacting craftsmanship that made him a favourite of Naomi Campbell and Greta Garbo alike.
