The Designer

Founded in 1949 in Nördlingen, Bavaria, Strenesse rose to prominence through the 1980s-2000s as Germany's definitive voice in minimal-luxury tailoring. Chief designer Gabriele Strehle shaped a cult aesthetic of Bauhaus-clean lines and architecturally precise silhouettes cut from the finest Italian fabrics — earning Strenesse comparisons to Jil Sander and a devoted international following.
