Rental Policy

Please read carefully before booking. By placing a rental order you agree to these terms.

1. Rental Period

Every rental is a flat 14-day period unless a longer term is agreed in writing. The period begins the day the item is dispatched and ends on the return-postmark date. Extensions are possible if the item is not reserved for the next customer — email me before your end date.

2. Pricing

The price shown on each product is the full rental fee for the 14-day period. It includes professional cleaning after return.

3. Security Deposit

A refundable deposit is added to your order automatically based on the item's retail value:

  • Retail under €2,000: €25 deposit
  • Retail €2,000 – €4,999: €100 deposit
  • Retail €5,000 and above: €200 deposit

The deposit is taken at checkout and refunded in full within 5 working days of the item being received back in good condition. It is withheld in part or in full only in the cases described under Damage, Loss and Late Return below.

4. Shipping & Returns

Standard shipping inside Germany is €7free for orders over €100. You return the item using the prepaid return label included with your delivery — it must be postmarked no later than the final day of your rental period.

5. Condition & Care

You are responsible for the item from the moment it is delivered until the return is scanned by the carrier. Please do not clean, iron, alter or repair the garment yourself — that is included in my service. Avoid smoke, perfume sprayed directly on the fabric, makeup near the neckline, red wine, and any open flame.

6. Damage

Normal wear from careful use is expected and covered. Damage beyond that (stains that professional cleaning cannot remove, rips, burns, broken hardware, missing buttons, altered pieces) is charged against the deposit and, if the cost of repair exceeds the deposit, against the card on file — capped at the retail value listed on the product page.

7. Loss or Non-Return

If the item is not postmarked within 5 working days of the end of your rental period, you will be charged the full retail value listed on the product page, less any deposit already held. This is the replacement cost and is non-negotiable.

8. Late Return

A return postmarked 1–5 working days after the end of the rental period: I hold the deposit until the item is received and assessed, no further fee. Returns later than 5 working days are treated as non-returns under clause 7.

9. Cancellations

Cancel in full and receive a refund up to 48 hours before dispatch. After that window the rental is non-refundable, though I will always try to reschedule if your plans change.

10. Sizing

Measurements are published on each product page. Please check them carefully — rentals cannot be returned for a size refund once dispatched. If you are between sizes, email me before booking and I will advise.

11. Fit & First-Try Exchange

If an item arrives and genuinely does not fit as described, contact me within 24 hours with a photo. If I cannot offer a size exchange from stock, you may return the piece unworn within 48 hours of delivery for a full refund minus shipping.

12. Liability

The rental is personal to the customer who booked it. Do not sublet, re-rent, re-sell, photograph for commercial use without written permission, or publish paid content featuring the piece without disclosing it as loaned.
